About our Forester...

Patrick A. Lunceford, R.F.
Our forester, Patrick A. Lunceford, was born and raised in neighboring McDuffie County, Georgia. He graduated from Thomson High School in 1996, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 1998 with an Associate of Applied Science in Forestry, and the University of Georgia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources with an emphasis in Forest Business.
Patrick is a member of the Georgia Forestry Association and the Society of American Foresters. He is a registered forester with the Georgia State Board of Foresters, a Georgia Master Timber Harvester, and holds a prescribed burn certificate with the Georgia Forestry Commission.
Patrick was recently recognized as the 2010 McDuffie County, Georgia Conservationist of the Year by the US Natural Resource Conservation Service. In his time off, he enjoys many outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. Patrick is also active in leadership roles in the Thomson Boat Club.
